Zimswitch – KidzCan Victory Lap
The partnership between KidzCan Zimbabwe and ZimSwitch officially commenced in early September 2025, launched in the lead-up to Global Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with ZimSwitch stepping on board as the primary sponsor for the annual Zimswitch – KidzCan Victory Lap (Survivors Run).
ZimSwitch entered into the partnership driven by its corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, which places a strong emphasis on community health, equity, and well-being. Leadership at ZimSwitch noted that fostering a truly inclusive and resilient society requires supporting vulnerable groups, viewing the collaboration not just as philanthropy, but as a core extension of their mission to empower all Zimbabweans. Beyond sponsoring the resilience-focused Victory Lap event, the partnership has since expanded to include technology infrastructure support, with ZimSwitch acting as a key payment gateway partner to streamline digital donations and make funding for pediatric cancer care more accessible.
