Parirenyatwa Hospital’s A4 Special Ward for cancer halls were filled with the spirit of Easter as caregivers, all resident in the hospital, came for the psychosocial monthly group support meeting in the Day Space. The afternoon was capped with a delightful Easter handout that stole the show. Despite facing challenges, the caregivers were greeted with vibrant green and red goodie bags that radiated the joy and hope of the upcoming Easter season.
As they received their surprises, the usual sombre atmosphere transformed into positivity and vibrant energy, with smiles replacing gloom. It was a heart-warming and uplifting experience that painted the hospital with vibrant colors of love, hope, and renewal, infusing the day with joy and togetherness. In attendance, Sister Patricia Mareyanadzo expressed her appreciation for the kind gesture by KidzCan and everyone who made the day a success.
She urged all well-wishers to continue supporting, saying, “The impact of your generosity is immeasurable. Let’s continue to spread hope and joy to those in need.
